NOTE! Bid4Jeeps.com is running on the domain of our parent company, Yabexe.com. We are the same company and in time we plan on separating the two, but for now please be aware that there may be instances in which emails and information will be generated from the Yabexe.com domain. Please ensure your email program accepts mail from both Bid4Jeeps.com and Yabexe.com domains.
Online Auction Sites and How They Work
This
is an overview of online auction sites available online. Please read our other
FAQ's, the Help area, Terms and
Conditions and Privacy
Policy and familiarize yourself with all that Bid4Jeeps has implemented for
its valued membership.
Most online auction sites follow many of the same principles and guidelines.
Whether you are looking for the best Jeep related deal, the latest gadget to hit the market, a collectible item, or wanting to sell that set of tires in the garage, an auction website is for you.
A Buyer or Seller becomes a member on Bid4Jeeps by registering through our SSL secured system. Registration is always
free on Bid4Jeeps. While other websites offering auction services may offer a special free registration window timeline, there are many which do charge a registration fee. Upon successfully
registering on Bid4Jeeps, the seller is free to list their auction items and the
buyer is free to purchase - it's as easy as that.
When listing an item on Bid4Jeeps, the
seller also specifies certain criteria that the buyer should be aware
of:
a starting and ending date
for the "auction", which can be as short as 1 day to as long as *1 month;
a minimum starting price (opening
bid);
an optional reserve price;
the winning bid must exceed this price, which may or may not be displayed
in advance to potential buyers;
a detailed description of the
item being sold, and photos of the item; sales conditions
(such as delivery times, who is responsible for paying the shipping cost etc.
* As an added feature 1 month auctions will convert to 7 days if a bid is placed. This allows the auction to complete faster for both the buyer and seller to avoid an extended wait.
Listing an item for auction on Bid4Jeeps is ALWAYS 100% free if no special feature options are selected. There are very nominal charges to the seller to sell items on Bid4Jeeps if featured options for auction enhancements are opted for. These
enhancements include featuring an auction on the home page, showcasing on the category page, auction
title in bold font, and other options available. Again, there are no fees associated with Bid4Jeeps if a basic listing is chosen. We do not charge an insertion fee to list your items for sale.
Buyers can search Bid4Jeeps for items they wish to bid on and
ultimately purchase. Buyers do not pay Bid4Jeeps a fee for any
purchase, bid or service.Upon a successful conclusion, the highest bidder wins and it's then up to the Seller and Buyer to contact each other,
with information automaticallyprovided through Yabexe.com, and make arrangements for
payment and delivery.
Upon the completion of every successful transaction the Seller
and Buyer should post feedback for one another to indicate how the
transaction went. Over time, this feedback will give others a general
idea as to the honesty and integrity of the Buyer and Seller.
Are online auctions safe and secure?
Most are safe and secure however, there are those that don't support or protect their membership. Bid4Jeeps has a number of programs installed to enhance security, but be aware no website is ever 100% secure from fraudulent members. Always be cautious when using any online service.
In truth, online shopping can be a great place to find fantastic
bargains. More and more, people are turning to the internet to find
more information about products
because it is simply much more convenient to search for an item from
the
comfort of your home or office than it is to go out shopping and having to deal with traffic and crowds. To make online
shopping as safe as possible we recommend to you the following
guidelines:
Buy Inexpensive Items First If you are new to online shopping, buying an inexpensive item
before
buying a more expensive one can prove helpful. Learning the online
auction process can be easy and doesn't have to be expensive.
Experience is what counts.
Buy or Sell using Secure and Established Payment Services: Use Paypal, or Google Checkout if available because each of them offer various forms of protection just in case you have to file a dispute.
Check the sellers' previous feedback. Please note: Bid4Jeeps does not allow the transfer of feedback from eBay, which means all feedback relates only to conduct on Bid4Jeeps.
Ask to see an original image of the item: If the seller has placed an image up of the item that is not their own, ask
to see an actual image of the item on sale rather than a professional brand
item photograph taken off the Internet. If the user shows an image they photographed of the item being sold it will be more trustworthy.
Work With Verified Sellers and Friends: Trust takes a little time even in the real world of commerce, we usually
go back to sellers we trust and that have provided a good, honest and
friendly service. It is the same at Bid4Jeeps. When you are happy with a
seller you will be much more confident in purchasing more of their items in the
future. Once you establish trust with a seller you can also pay via other
methods without much concern, though we recommend always using Paypal, or Google Checkout payment methods for added safety. If a seller is Verified through the Bid4Jeeps Verified Seller Program, this is also an indication that we have verified information they have supplied us regarding personal information.
What
does Bid4Jeeps do to protect its members?
We Require A Valid Email Address
Every member that registers must have a valid email address. After a new member
registers, a link is sent to their email address from Yabexe.com, which they must click to
activate their Membership. We also continue to block many "freemail" addresses, such as gmail and others. Most scammers will use a freemail service which is why they are not allowed.
I.P. Address Verification
Bid4Jeeps does extensive I.P. Address fraud checks on sign up. All users can
be tracked back to their origin of sign up via their I.P. address. Duplicate IP's are not allowed - an indication that a person is attempting to open multiple accounts.
Submitted Details Verification
If the user details are suspicious we remove their right to buy or sell
on Bid4Jeeps
immediately and ask the newly signed up member to correct their
details. If
they re-submit their details and we are the least suspicious the
re-submitted
details are once again incorrect we give a final warning and
may call
via phone to verify their details that are questionable, or make a small credit card
verification
payment. If the Member does not reply they will be unable to buy or
sell. In addition, each new member receives a phone call from a live
staff member of Bid4Jeeps to verify his or her phone number given upon registration.
Paypal Trusted Payment Method
If a Bid4Jeeps Member offers Paypal as
a payment method, the user will receive a Paypal Verified icon indicating that they
can be tracked and money can be claimed back if there is an issue after
purchase. The Paypal icon indicates that Paypal has verified them with having correct information. Any seller that accepts , Paypal or Google Checkout should be considered as verified because to register with these
services you need to verify your merchant account using a valid and traceable bank
account.
Unless a seller has received the Bid4Jeeps Verified Seller icon , be cautious buying from sellers that only provide buyers with "Check", "Money Order", "Cash", or any other such
non-refundable payment method. Without an indication of verification of some kind, as there
is absolutely no buyer protection with such payments. Though our own icon does not guarantee your purchase, it does indicate that the sellers information of their phone number and address registered with us is correct and they have been approved through Paypal.
This is not to say such sellers who do not verify themselves are not trustworthy, only that more security is available through online services, and verification of some kind is preferable over not having any type of verification.
Bid4Jeeps
Feedback System Bid4Jeeps has a feedback
system where users can leave feedback from purchases or sales. The feedback
system is a great way to gain trust from the experience of other members of Bid4Jeeps and you should always leave honest feedback for the other party.
Bid4Jeeps Member Activity Yabexe.com monitors user activity, if any suspicious activity is noticed Bid4Jeeps suspends or cancels accounts where it is deemed fit.
Bid4Jeeps Community Watch Bid4Jeeps has a link on every item listing where the item can be
reported by any user immediately if it seems at all suspicious, or it is in violation of our policies. Bid4Jeeps is
a community watch system where Members can report items directly to our staff if they feel the item is offensive, inappropriate, or violates our prohibited items list.
Phishing
and Spoofing Some people try and
steal passwords by Phishing or Spoofing users in an attempt to grab their
password via email and other methods. Bid4Jeeps protects Members by telling
them never to give their passwords to anyone via email or by a web site posing
to be Bid4Jeeps or Yabexe.com. Always check the address bar of your browser for the url
http://www.Yabexe.com. If you are directed to another page via an email
acting as Bid4Jeeps or Yabexe.com and the url is not http://www.yabexe.com or
https://www.yabexe.com then you are on a spoof web site which will try
and steal your login and password. Immediately report it to us via the contact
form so that we may warn all members.

Registration and Your Account
In
order to buy or sell items on Bid4Jeeps you must become a registered
member. Registration, whether as a buyer or a seller is free; and in
fact you receive a $5 credit to your account upon registration which
can be used to pay any future special feature fees you may opt for when listing an item.
To register go to the Bid4Jeeps registration
page, where you are required to provide your details and setup an
account. Your contact details are supplied to your buyers and sellers
after an auction ends, so make sure they are correct.
Your
"Username" must be unique and will be your identification on Bid4Jeeps. You will need your "Username" to login and access your Control Panel, and to list and bid on auctions.
Once you have
completed the registration, an email from Yabexe.com will be sent to the email address
you supplied during the registration process. In addition, a staff
member of Bid4Jeeps will place a phone call to you in order to
verify that the phone number supplied is working. You may login to your Bid4Jeeps account immediately, but failure to answer our call or an incorrect phone number given will cause your account to be suspended until the situation is resolved.
It
may take up to 48 hours to receive your initial phone call and this
is done between the hours of 9am and 7pm eastern time - 7 days a week.
NOTE:
Passwords and usernames are case-sensitive. When using Bid4Jeeps,
you must enter your password and username exactly as you first registered with it, capital
(or lowercase) letters and all.
More than one Bid4Jeeps account. It
is accepted that situations may arise where more than one person in a household may wish to have a Bid4Jeeps
account. This, of course, would trigger a duplicate ISP violation, but exceptions can be made with verification. However, be aware that any transaction, bidding or feedback activity between
multiple accounts from the same ISP is not allowed. Bid4Jeeps and Yabexe.com will investigate any
reported activity between these accounts. Sellers found to be shilling (using multiple accounts to run up the price)
on their own auctions will receive an official notification which will lead
to their permanent ban.
Please note: Each Bid4Jeeps account must have a unique email address. Accounts with the same ISP can not be opened under the same email address.
Registration Age Limit removal from the Bid4Jeeps website.
In
accordance with standard law those under 18 may not participate in Bid4Jeeps auctions, as completed transactions are legally binding contracts.
Bid4Jeeps is an Auction Venue Only Although Bid4Jeeps (Yabexe.com) is referred to as an online auction site, it is important
to realize that Bid4Jeeps is only a venue for you and other members
to buy and sell in an auction-style setting. Bid4Jeeps is not
involved in the actual transaction, and never sees the buyer, seller,
nor has physical possession of the items being listed for sale (with the exception of those items we may list for personal sales and will indicate).
Permitted countries
At
this time, registration is only available to residents of the USA and Canada. Of course, some users may choose not to sell or buy something from the other country due to customs requirements.
All listings on Bid4Jeeps are by individuals, and
they have the right to accept or reject a foreign bid. Whether they
will or not is generally shown within the auction listing. Many users will just add to the shipping charges to cover additional costs. You can
also email the seller before you bid (you must be logged into your Bid4Jeeps account), to see if user is willing to ship to your location.
Security and Privacy of Your Information
We value our own privacy and yours, and we do not abuse your information.
YES! You can list every item without a listing fee if you choose not to opt for any special feature fees. Your item will be added to our site for free with no limit on how many items you list! You can even have a Free Store of your own if you want to create a unique area for your items and you are the occasional seller who only needs a store for up to 10 items at one time. If your item does not sell you can even re-list it automatically without charge up to 3 times! If it doesn't sell, simply recreate your listing the same way (without additional features) and it is still free.
So, yes, the listings are 100% free. The only cost incurred would be if your item sells. Then we only charge a small Final Value Fee of 1.25% to 3.9%, depending upon the final value of the item. The FVF is not a listing fee, however, and is only incurred if the item sells. Compare our FVF to feeBay's 8.75% - 15.0% and you will see which auction site is the better deal!
We do charge fees for listings that opt for special features, such as Featured Home Page, Featured Category, Bold listings and others. They are extremely cheap, but are in place to make those listings what they are - "Special" and attention getting. Without some fee (even a small one) everyone would choose all the options and they would no longer be unique. Every listing would be featured on the home page, category, bold, highlighted, etc.
Again, these are optional. Not choosing a special feature will not prevent you from listing your item, or having it found on our site. Basic listings will always be 100% FREE.

In your Control Panel, under the heading of, "Selling" you will find a link named, Verification. This link will allow you to begin the verification process.
A Fully Verified Member receives a special icon after completing a three part process that ensures the phone number and address provided to Bid4Jeeps is legitimate. It consists of *SMS Verification through your cell phone, a USPS delivered letter to your physical address, and the use of PayPal.
*SMS Verification is part of Bid4Jeeps'
Member Verification process that uses a text message to send you a
unique code to your cell phone (your cell phone must be text message
enabled). After receiving
the code, apply it to your account where requested and Bid4Jeeps will
verify that your mobile phone number has been accurately recorded
automatically. You will also receive a letter from us providing another
code that will complete the process when it is applied.
Though
Verification was actually designed to enhance the buyers trust when
dealing with a seller who is verified, the verification process will
give the buyer the same verification icon a seller would receive, as it
lets sellers know that the information you provided as a buyer,
regarding both your address and phone number is correct.
Upon
successful completion of the Fully Verified Member process, including the
address verification through the mailed letter from Bid4Jeeps (which
also contains a needed code), you will receive this icon on your
profile:
This
icon lets both buyers and sellers know that all your information is
correct and there are far less worries in completing a transaction with
you! Cost for Full Verification is $1/mo and billed every 90 days through PayPal ($3 every 90 days) to ensure information is up-to-date in our system.
Icons are used for easily identifiable status symbols for members. These icons will indicate levels of reputation, whether a member is verified, has a store, etc.
The following icons will appear when a member reaches each level after performing successful transactions in the amounts of:
The word "sniping" is derived from the practice of an individual targeting a specific item and timing their bid to be placed within the last few seconds of the closing of the auction. Sniping can be done manually with an individual sitting at their computer, but automatic programs have also been created that allows a person to set his information and walk away. When the auction is about to close the program will submit the bid at the appropriate time. On eBay, this practice goes unchecked. If you've had your eye on an item and watched it go down to the final second with you as the leading bidder, only to discover someone outbid you with one or two seconds left, then you were a victim of sniping. Of course, when you are outbid with such little time remaining you have no chance of resubmitting another bid and the auction is over.
For the buyer it is frustrating. For the seller, it means that he has lost a possibly higher bidding customer.
Our Anti-sniping technology defeats the sniper by extending any auction where a bid is placed within the last two minutes of the auction closing. Should a bid be placed just before the auction closes the item will extend an additional two minutes for more bidding to be allowed. This prevents a sniper from stealing the auction and gives all potential buyers a chance to consider and place another bid. The auction will not close until the final two minutes elapses without another bid being placed.
For anyone with a picture editing program, you are likely aware of how to upload a picture. For those who are not computer savvy, uploading a picture is a simple process.
First, know that most digital cameras take pictures that are much too large for uploading, should you attempt to upload them without conversion. We accept pictures no larger than 500Kb in size. (Many newer cameras now allow for resizing automatically - check your features available for your camera).
Should your picture be rejected, due to its' file size being reported as too large, you can reduce it with an image editing program. Image editing programs allow you to crop, reduce size, change the format, add text, and a host of other features.
Though most image editing programs cost money, there is a free and very capable IEP from Google that is 100% free that works quite well.
Picasa3 is available for download here and is a simple program to use. We highly recommend it if you are looking for a free IEP.
Once your picture is ready simply click the "Browse" button during the listing process, when you come to that section where you have the opportunity to upload up to 10 pictures. A window will appear showing files available on your own computer. Find and highlight the image file you wish to upload. Repeat the step for as many images you wish to upload for your listing.
If you sell numerous items and have certain areas of the listing form that seldom change it can be tedious to retype your well established selling policies and choices, you can speed up your listing process by pre-filling the form for those areas.
For example: You always accept Money Orders as payment and your Shipping & Payment details never change. These areas (as well as others) can be pre-filled, so that whenever you list an item your listing form will present you with what you want to appear each time.
This information can, of course, be altered if you wish at any time, either by changing the pre-filled information, or during each listing process.
Accessing The Pre-filled Data Area and Adding Information
1) In your Control Panel, look under the "Selling" area. 2) Click "Prefilled Fields/Global Settings". 3) Insert all information that you feel has been repetitive. 4) Click "Proceed".
If you are selling an item and want to be paid instantly online using Paypal or Google Checkout you must create an account with them. Each one of these methods will take a fee for their services. At one time Google Checkout offered a 1% rate, but that rate ended in May of 2009. Now both processors are exactly the same in fees. Most merchants can figure to be paying 2.9% plus the .30 cents for each transaction. Bid4Jeeps does not earn any income from these fees. PP and GC are independent processing services.
When you use Paypal or Google Checkout to process your sales, you can be charged rates as low as 1.9% + $0.30 per transaction, but this requires a high volume of sales revenue. Both have no monthly, setup, or gateway service fees.
Doing the following volume of business in the previous month will result in the following fees:
Monthly Sales
Fees Per Transaction
Less than $3,000

About Paypal and Google Checkout
Paypal is owned by eBay, which explains why they barred all other forms of payment from their website. They not only charge you as much as 15% for selling your item (plus the inflated "special feature" fees), they also force you to use Paypal - adding another 3%+ to their take.
However, that being said, Paypal is the easiest of the two methods to use as a seller. For simplicity it wins over Google Checkout. Simply provide them with an email and your banking information, and you are set to go. Money you keep in Paypal can be used to pay for items you may purchase. It is the more widely used processor on the market. As a buyer, both methods are simple to use. GC only requires a credit card to complete the transaction. Both are guaranteed against fraud.
Setting up a Merchant Google Checkout account is a more complicated process, requiring you to create an account and obtaining a "key" consisting of a numerical number which must be used when creating a cart, or using it on a website like ours. Setting must also be changed within your Google account to ensure all payments are processed. It can be a bit daunting if you are unfamiliar with the requirements.
Google Checkout simply serves as a holding place for your credit or debit card information. It allows you to log in to a single Google username to shop, while hiding your valuable data and e-mail address from merchants. If you're selling stuff on a Web site, you can cut and paste some code that lets visitors shop via Google Checkout, which takes a small cut of your sales.
PayPal's fine print is more complicated than Google Checkout's, but PayPal offers a wider variety of services for shoppers and businesses--particularly small ones--to exchange funds. Only PayPal lets shoppers transfer money to or from bank accounts in addition to credit and debit cards, and you can use it to wire money to other people without requiring them to get a paid account. And PayPal is the only way to go if you're shopping around the world. Your financial details remain hidden from stores, but sellers might see your e-mail address.
When Google Checkout fees were significantly lower than Paypal it was worth the "hassle" of going through the process of creating an account with them.
So, why does Bid4Jeeps offer GC if PP is easier? Because GC is an option that some merchants still want to have available. There are sellers who prefer GC over PP and have a Merchant account in place and operational. There are some buyers who prefer using Google, having had an unpleasant experience with Paypal. We think that people should have the option to offer either, if they can.
Our recommendation for those who want simplicity in selling is to use Paypal (though it pains us to say so). Opening a Business Account is the better option over a Personal Account, is also free to create, and you can be enrolled in a matter of minutes. CLICK HERE,or the banner below to open a Merchant Paypal account, if you do not have one already. Our only suggestion is to never leave a significant balance in your PP account. Though we use Paypal, we have little trust in allowing a 3rd party who has the ability to freeze our account, or simply screw up, to act as a bank. It is not a banking institution. No minimum balance is required with PP, so you should withdraw your funds routinely, or withdraw when funds reach a level that you don't want to risk losing for any reason.

*Bid4Jeeps and Yabexe.com offers no support or assistance in creating a Paypal or Google Merchant Account. All inquires should be directed to the respective support systems they provide.
Freelance auctions (also known as Reverse Auctions) are where the roles of seller and buyer are reversed. It is most often used for services, rather than a specific item.
It allows the opportunity for people/businesses to make lower bids on the project or service you need performed.
It can also be used for those offering their services.
For instance as a person looking for a Freelancer, you want your Jeep lifted. You would create a listing with all the information about the project you need performed.
You might include information such as: The year and type of jeep you own. The existing suspension system. The lift height you desire. Whether or not you are providing the lift kit. Completion Date Required. Payment Timeline (ie., 1/2 at start, balance at completion). Photos of existing suspension system. Request for references and locations of previous work performed.
This allows you to provide a potential freelancer the opportunity to bid on your project. Another freelancer may undercut that price for a number of reasons (familiarity, schedule opening, lack of work, etc.).
The scenario is that you will get a better price and you are not required to accept an offer from the lowest bidder. You can choose to go with any person who made you a price offer. This is beneficial to the bidders, as well. You may decide you want to go with a bidder because something in his bid information (even though he was higher than the lowest) made you decide to do so.
If you were a Freelance provider, you would list your skills as a lift installer, give information as to the size of a job you will do with all the specifications and wait for people to bid on using your services (in this instance you would likely accept the highest bid, depending upon payment method).
Freelance listings can be used for any job and doesn't have to be Jeep related. From construction to website programming, if you need a job done list it in the Freelance section. If you feel the category you seek is not available please contact us and we will add it.
The reason is because it has likely been blocked as a "freemail" service. The majority of people (and we are not saying you) who scam others use freemail services as a means of contact. Though we understand that there are occasions when a freemail address is used (we have more than one for personal use) this website is not one of them.
Among the blocked freemail services is the notorious gmail service. We regret that for many this may seem unreasonable, but for the safety of our members the rule of no gmail registrations is strictly enforced.
We suggest using your PRIMARY email from your Internet Service Provider. Know that your email address is not displayed to anyone browsing the website, or to robot crawlers looking to scrape addresses for spamming purposes. Messages are handled by an internal message system from Yabexe.com that forwards email to you.
We hope you will use your primary email assigned by your Internet Service Provider. Be assured that your information will never be sold, shared, or given to anyone else.
A number of reasons. The main one being that we are determined to reduce the cheap Chinese knockoff items that either don't work, don't fit, or aren't as described, from sellers who know that there is little a buyer can do about the situation. Those looking for such items should remain on eBay where they are abundant and the cause of many disputes. Those selling such items should closely read the policies regarding knockoffs and listing rules found in our Prohibited page.
The second reason is that shipping, customs restrictions, and laws regarding items being bought and sold between the US and Canada are very similar between our respective countries. This makes life easier for everyone involved.
Finally, while other auction sites may allow anyone from any country to join, such sites often attract the worst of membership. Many of their members are those who were actually banned from eBay - and when eBay finally bans someone they are the absolute bottom of the barrel. These overseas sellers realize that an ocean and international law makes their actions free from prosecution.
Please Note: It didn't take long for some from overseas residents to show up and try to use this site as free doorway to their own websites. Of course, they were removed because their IP address showed their location, but their attempt to divert our visitors is something we ask everyone not to do. Please see our FAQ post entitled, "Registration and Username Requirements" regarding use of links in your listings.
Since we are new, we are monitoring the registered users very closely. We feel that participation from residents of the US and Canada will provide more than sufficient activity for a healthy website and will result in less disputes. Our Verified Member Program is also more reliable with these members.
Registration Registration is currently open to residents that are 18 in age who reside in the U.S. and Canada only. Please do not register if you do not reside in these countries. We track ISPs and registering from outside our accepted countries will only result in you having wasted not only your time, but ours as well, for your ISP will be banned and your account deleted.
All information indicated as "required" during the registration process must be filled out. If you plan on becoming a Fully Verified Member in the future, all the information should be accurate and completed fully.
If you do not see a message indicating a confirmation email has been sent (it will be sent from Yabexe.com), upon your submission of registration, please check the page for a message that will indicate an error, or lack of information in a required box.
Upon receiving the confirmation email simply click the link provided and you will be allowed to login and gain access to your personal Control Panel.
Choosing a Username DO NOT use your website name which includes the domain suffix as your username! This is not allowed.
This means if you have a website, "JoeHardware.com", you may create a username of "JoeHardware", but you may not create a username of "JoeHardware.com".
Many usernames are banned that could give the impression to other users you are associated in some way with ownership or authority of our site. These include, but are not limited to Administrator, Webmaster, Support, etc.
We reserve the right to delete your account if you choose an offensive username. Racial and religious slurs among others, or foul language within a username are among those we monitor closely.
Also, free stores on our website is not intended for people to create links to products located elsewhere on the Internet. We feel this is trying to circumvent our system and simply being done to generate traffic from our site to theirs. You may not insert outside affiliate links anywhere in your listings (You may use your Bid4Jeeps affiliate link). We are offering you a free store. Please don't abuse the freebie.
We ask you restrict your advertising to inserts placed in the items you ship, your logo you upload, or purchase ad space on our website if you desire to promote your own website.
The free store allows you to place up to 10 items in your own store without a store fee. Usernames As mentioned in the FAQ regarding registration and usernames, there are some restrictions in using the free store.
As with all stores, you can not name it with a domain extension. That is, you can call it "JoeHardware", but you can not name it "JoeHardware.com" (or .net, .org, etc.).
Links You can not create links that redirect people from your store to another website from which you sell products. We are offering a free store and by doing so, there have been instances of people registering and then using the links to direct people to unsavory, or virus infected sites. Please restrict your promotional methods to inserts added to the items you ship, your uploaded logo, or contact us regarding display advertising on this website. Only advertisers who pay a monthly fee are allowed to have links that redirect members to their own website. All such advertisers must include our banner notice at the bottom of their listing informing members they are approved for redirects.
If you find you need to list more items in your store, we offer extremely low rates for stores that allow you to list many more items.
Currently, Bid4Jeeps has been built to offer only one shipping option for sellers to offer buyers in the menu choices when creating each listing. This will be the default option shown to prospective buyers, but should you wish to offer other options simply state in your listing what other shipping methods you are willing to use and will quote them on request.
Most people will use your default option if you note that other options requested will be a higher cost (if they are in fact, higher).
As we grow we expect that many will have items that don't exactly fit into the categories we have created, or would like a sub-category (or even a sub-sub-category) to be available for their item. You don't have to choose one of those we have created.
Rather than guess what people want and create categories that might never be needed we simply wait for your suggestion. We can easily add the area you would like.
Contact us with your desire and we will likely add it. If possible, give us the full "tree" and your addition.
Such as, "Motors-Boats-Boat Motors-Add "Parts"-Add "Props"
We can go numerous levels deep, if needed. Please send suggestions to: suggestions@yabexe.com (Our mail system is run through Yabexe.com)
Bid4Jeeps was started because there was a need for an alternative to eBay that would provided an inexpensive and even free auction venue to those occasional sellers that are slammed with the high cost of eBay fees - especially among the tight knit community of Jeep owners.
Originally, Bid4Jeeps was named Yabexe.com (which explains why it resides on that domain url) and we attempted to take on the 800 pound gorilla, called eBay. We soon realized that opening the site to every country and every seller was a wasted effort and created more problems than it was worth. We found that scams by individuals outside North America - which does
happen with such places as eBay - was uncontrollable.
We purged every country except the U.S. and Canada. Being Jeep owners ourselves, we decided to concentrate on those honest, hard working individuals who have a known camaraderie with each other, which can be seen with just a friendly wave as we pass each other on the roadways.
Though we offer the ability for fellow Jeep owners to list more than Jeep related items, the real focus of Bid4Jeeps is on the Jeep.
Simply put, other than being less costly, it isn't much different than eBay. Call it a clone, a duplicate, or a mirror image, but the most important features you find on eBay you will find here at Bid4Jeeps - plus we have more options than eBay!.
Want your own store? We got it and our Basic Store is FREE! We have a Freebies area if you want to give it away! We have a Freelance section if you want work done, or can do the work!

We also have some things eBay does not:
SWAP OPTION. Willing to swap your auction item for something of the same value? Let people know in your listing and choose the SWAP OPTION.
ANTI-SNIPING. Tired of eBay where with 1 second left someone with a faster computer comes in and steals your purchase out from under you. With our anti-sniping technology if anyone makes a bid in the last few seconds the auction is extended another 2 minutes so that you have time to make another bid if you want.
2 STRIKES AND OUTPOLICY. (Those of us who are honest will love this.) We won't put up with scammers and cheats. eBay might (and rarely does) close an account after numerous complaints, but we have a 2 strike policy. If, after we investigate, we conclude a buyer or seller did not complete a transaction, or ignores our requests for information, we ban them.
MULTIPLE PAYMENT OPTIONS. Unlike eBay that only allows Paypal and will ban users who even hint that they will accept payments in any other form, we offer not only Paypal, but you can select to be paid by Google Checkout, Money Order, Check, Cash, Credit Cards, and the Swap Option mentioned above.
We want to hear suggestions from you! If there is something you think is missing to make our site better, or you are looking for another function to be added we will try to add it, if it's possible.
