We recommend members download the guide and familiarize themselves with our website. Note: Within the guide you will see a reference to bookmarks being available in the guide. Your pdf reader program (such as Acrobat) will have an option to display bookmarks. The Benefit of 30 Days Exposure Without The Wait  30 Day auctions will automatically revert to *7 days if a bid is placed. That is, if there is more than 7 days remaining on an auction, the auction will become a 7 day auction. This is yet another reason to use us as an eBay alternative.This does not affect auctions with less than 7 days remaining when a bid is placed. This FREE feature allows the seller more exposure for the item without having to relist it as often and also allows the buyer not to have to wait a month for the auction to end. Though no system is 100% foolproof, the majority of scammers and frauds will usually avoid a verification system that has a chance of tracking them down. Want to be a *Verified Member?  For Sellers, you receive a special tag (shown above) that lets buyers know we have verified all your information, including your address and phone number. You will be Paypal verified, address verified, and phone verified. Buyers will see your verification status and know we have done all we can to ensure a safe transaction. For Buyers, you also receive the special icon and this lets the Seller know you have not given us false information and that your address and phone number are correct. You are letting the seller know that you and your payment are sincere. Should a member change their information after being member verified they will lose the associated tag and will have to begin the verification process again. *Certain conditions must be met. In order for our system to work, certain prerequisites are needed. As a Verified Member who receives the icon your account will be charged $1/mo, billed every 90 days. This fee is taken through your Paypal account and not from your Bid4Jeeps account. PP is a necessary evil for this verification system to work. To become a Verified Member we will verify you as Paypal Verified when you submit payment, so you will need a Paypal account. If not already Paypal verified during your account registration process, you can open a FREE Paypal Merchant account HERE. Doing so will also provide you with our Paypal Verified icon.  Text messaging is required to receive a special code on your cell phone which must be placed in your members area "Verification" link. This verifies your cell phone number. A letter will also be sent to you using the registered address you provided to us when you joined Bid4Jeeps. Enclosed will be a special code for you to enter on the site. Doing so will verify your mailing address as true and correct: Be aware that we may randomly repeat some areas of the process without notification so remain current with your account information, such as new married name, new address, phone, etc. FULL INSTRUCTIONS FOR VERIFICATION To verify your registration information, login, look in the "Members Area" sidebar at left, look in the "Selling" section, and click the "Verification" link to begin the process. 1) If you are not Paypal verified it will ask you to do so and direct you to open a Paypal account. a) If you do not have a Paypal account we highly suggest you open a FREE Merchant account by clicking HERE. You are under no obligation to use Paypal for any future transactions with members unless you choose to do so. b) If you already have an existing Paypal account and you provided that information during your initial registration on Bid4Jeeps, you will be directed to Paypal where you will be billed $3.00, which will pay for your initial 90 days. If you did not provide an existing Paypal email and now want to provide that omitted information you can do so by going to: Control Panel -> My Account -> Personal Information. Locate the "Direct Payment Settings" box and insert your Paypal email in the box provided, then click the "Update" button. 2. Once payment is made on Paypal you will receive a statement from Paypal indicating the payment was made for verification. However, you are not fully "Member Verified" until a couple of other steps are completed. 3. Return to the "Verification" linkin your Control Panel (located under the "Selling" heading). a) Clicking this link will present a page that will now show two areas that need to be finalized. "SMS Verification" and "Address Verification". Click the button that says, "Send SMS" and you will receive a text message to your cell phone with a code that you will place in the box on that same page. Though you may see a red message stating a delay, the message is usually delivered within 15 minutes. b) On our end we will generate a letter that we will send to your registered address via the USPS. The letter will also have a code that is inserted in the Address Verification box seen on that page. Once both are complete you will receive the "Verified Member" icon and that icon lets everyone know that the information you provided when you registered is truthful, promoting trust in those you deal with and will likely find you more successful when competing with those who are not Member Verified. Affiliate programs have been in use for many years on the Internet, allowing companies to reward those who send them new customers and promote their website. Here at Bid4Jeeps we have the same philosophy. We want to reward our members for actively promoting our website and sending us new membership. With our affiliate program you will be assigned a unique affiliate link code. Basically, a url address with a special # at the end of it that is only assigned to you. This number allows us to track everyones referrals and award credit where credit is due. You will need to register for an account to utilize our service, and can do so by: [ Clicking on this Link ] to visit us now! Best regards, The Staff at Bid4Jeeps" You can also send a portion of your credits to any of your referrals. Earned a $100 and one of your friends needs a few bucks for a special listing fee?
